Why this one is different
Six factions, six ways of thinking
Steel is cast, bred, cut out of wrecks — or dropped from orbit. All of them on the same world — and beyond that they share nothing at all.
Eight rivals, one battlefield
Eight bases, one patch of ground and a supply that will not stretch to all of them. Maps wide enough that you hear the enemy before you see him.
319 units and buildings
From the shield technician to the orbital cannon — every faction brings its own roster, with its own research tree. All of it is in the knowledge base before you even start the game.
If our server fails, your match keeps going
If one of our compute nodes crashes, the match moves to another one automatically — the game state is saved every three seconds, not a single command is lost. Even a restart of our main server does not end a running match. If your own connection drops, on the other hand, the game pauses and waits for you: one minute no matter what, after that your fellow players can vote, and after five minutes at most the match goes on without you. Make it back in time and you pick up exactly where you left off.
You have to earn your army
Every production building offers exactly one combat unit to begin with — the rifleman for the Steel Union, its counterpart for the others. Every further one is a research node, and you cannot afford them all. At the end of each line there is an either-or on top: radar that tears open half the map — or stealth from everyone else’s radar.
Superweapons you see coming
They erase bases, but they announce themselves. You can react. In lobby games they can be switched off — in ranked and quick match they are always in.
An economy that forces choices
Three ores, one depot, finite deposits. What you mine today decides what you can build ten minutes from now.
Factions
Six ways to fight the same war. Pick a faction and inspect its entire army.
The arsenal in 3D
Every unit and building exactly as it stands in the new Unreal Engine 5 client — rotatable, with firing, movement and destruction animations.
